This week’s episode is kind of different from other episodes we had. We were graced with the world champions! Deka World Champions gathered together and shared their training tips, strategies and mindset the very reason they achieved their place in the Deka events.
We have different guests from different age groups placing in Deka events. And we were given different strategies and techniques that they used as they competed. Some were runners as a background and some were not. Those who are not runners did train a lot in running before they competed.
Important things discussed:
Know what your weak point is, and train to improve it.
Conditioning is key.
Give yourself different goals and keep some variety in training.
Accept the pain rather than resisting it.
Focus on what you can control.
Smile,have fun, and be happy with what you are doing.
Training is what prepares you for the event.
