John Lee Dumas is a man that has been through many different challenges in his life. When he was young, he decided that he wanted to be in the military. He graduated from his college in 2002, and was immediately commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army. He then served 13 months overseas, in the Middle East, at war.
When he came home, he went through some different changes. He tried law school, and it didn’t work out. He tried real estate in 2009, during one of the worst times to be in real estate. He even tried working for a start-up company in NYC, but hated his job. He moved out west, and a friend introduced him to podcasts.
After being introduced to the world of podcasts, he noticed that there were some good ones that interviewed entrepreneurs, but not one that did it daily. He decided that he needed to fill this niche, and make one. He proceeded to do so, and to this day he is the #1 Podcast that interviews entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurs on Fire.All of these interviews have also led to him writing his book: “The Common Path to Uncommon Success.”
John sat down with us to go over what’s in his book. After all these interviews with successful entrepreneurs, he has derived 17 steps that will take you to your version of financial freedom.
